The show includes new work by Regine Verougstrate, Dominique Romero and Marie Switzer. All three had found art to be a medium as well as a vehicle for healing and renewal in their battles with breast cancer. With this work - specifically created for the show - the artists reflect on their personal and artistic journeys, and how creative expression has enabled them to overcome hardship, reevaluate priorities and embrace the journey ahead with newfound hope and strength. The Journey of Becoming will be on view from May 19, 2012 through June 29, 2012.
