Kazu Tabu When the Sun Becomes a Memory
A series of giclee prints by Los Angeles artist Kazu Tabu. Inspired by the earthquake and tsunami of March 11, 2011 in his native Japan, Tabu’s works are rendered in meticulous detail, exploring the relationship we and our man-made world have with nature and the universe - physically and spiritually - and make us delve deeper into life's big questions. The show’s title is from a poem by Tabu's wife, artist Yu Cotton-Well, whose window installation complements the exhibit. The show is dedicated to the victims of the Tohoku Earthquake/ Tsunami, and 10% of the proceeds will be donated to Japan’s rebuilding efforts. Preview some of the work . We can ship internationally.
