Crossing the Line is a selection of recent oil paintings by local artist, educator and founder of Pasadena’s Wisdom Arts Laboratory, Abira Ali. Crossing many lines: between reality and fantasy, wilderness in the urban landscape, representation and abstraction, Ali continues to pay loving homage to her variegated Highland Park neighborhood and the magic she finds in its many facets.
