Jim Macdonald

James Macdonald has been a working actor for twenty-five years.  He is also a writer and director.  His short film Heavy Lifting, which he wrote and directed, was a festival favorite, and went on to win Best Short Film at the N.Y. Picture Start Film Festival. His one-man show, Big Frame Shakin’, enjoyed a run at New York’s Ensemble Studio Theatre and here in Los Angeles, where it was optioned by HBO, and his plays have been performed in Los Angeles at ARCADE, Ensemble Studio Theatre - LA, IAMA Theatre and the Mark Taper Auditorium.  He continues to read aloud his stories at Ensemble Studio Theatre and SPACE.

Make art collages and haikus to express diversity & neighborly love in our community. Inspired by the art installation, “Have You Seen Him?” No need to sign up, just show up near the “Walking Man” sculpture by the South Pasadena Metro Station, Meridian Ave. and Mission Street.
